Gaurav Shikhar Samman 2026 Concluded Successfully at Manas Bhavan, Jabalpur
The prestigious Gaurav Shikhar Samman 2026, organised in memory of Late Shri Ishwardas Rohani, was successfully held at Manas Bhavan, Jabalpur, in a grand and dignified manner.
Hon’ble Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Dr. Mohan Yadav, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. In his address, he described Jabalpur, the Sanskardhani, as a land of immense talent. He stated that the city, blessed by Maa Narmada, has produced distinguished personalities in every field who have made their mark nationally and internationally.
The Hon’ble Chief Minister appreciated the initiative of beginning the Gaurav Shikhar Samman with the field of education, highlighting that education is the foundation of societal progress. He further remarked that the Indian Gurukul tradition is not merely a system of imparting knowledge but a holistic framework for nurturing values, character, and life principles.
Remembering Late Shri Ishwardas Rohani, Dr. Yadav noted that he exemplified ideal public leadership during his tenure as a legislator. A true public representative, he said, remains connected with every family in the constituency and ensures that the benefits of development reach even the last person in society. This spirit of public service was the hallmark of Rohani Ji’s personality.
Dr. Yadav also expressed regret for his delayed arrival due to adverse weather conditions. Despite being advised against travel, he remained committed to attending the pre-scheduled programme. He stated that coming from the sacred city of Mahakal, he had faith that divine blessings would ensure his safe arrival in Jabalpur. He extended his gratitude to the audience for their patience, warmth, and gracious welcome, and conveyed his best wishes to the organising committee and all awardees.
The programme was presided over by Lieutenant General Harvinder Singh Vandra. Hon’ble Shri Rakesh Singh, Minister for Public Works Department, attended as the Guest of Honour.

The cultural segment featured outstanding performances by teams led by Dr. Vandana Pathak (Global Institute of Engineering & Management) and Dr. Jyoti Mishra and Dr. Shukla (Gyan Ganga Engineering College), who captivated the audience for over three hours. Shri Amit Dubey and his team further enriched the atmosphere with soulful devotional music.
