The programme was graced by Mrs. Mallika Banerjee Nadda (New Delhi) as the Chief Guest. In her address, she highlighted that in today’s fast-paced life and growing fast-food culture, people unknowingly compromise their health. She emphasised that adopting a healthy diet and disciplined lifestyle is essential to becoming responsible and aware citizens.

The Special Guest of the programme was Dr. Saurabh Baderia, Vice President, Indian Red Cross Society.

While presenting the introductory address, Programme Coordinator Dr. Sunil Mishra stated that the “Eat Right, Shine Bright” initiative has been launched with the objective of creating awareness among youths about serious health issues caused by junk food. The programme also focuses on introducing ‘superfoods’ that should be included in daily diets and organising a direct interaction (Q&A session) with doctors to address the queries of students, enabling the young generation to prevent sudden and lifestyle-related illnesses.

The programme was presided over by Principal Dr. Sameer Kumar Shukla. The Key Speakers, Dr. Satyanand K.S.M. and Dr. Vibha Shripal, in their brief addresses, stated that a balanced diet and disciplined lifestyle form the foundation of a healthy body and a strong mind.

The programme was conducted by Dr. Durga Mishra. Mrs. Mitali Banerjee and Janbhagidari Committee Chairperson Mrs. Seema Singh Juggi made significant contributions towards the success of the event.

On this occasion, all faculty members, guest lecturers, staff members and approximately 200 students were present. The programme proved to be an inspiring and meaningful confluence of health, education, values, nationalism and social responsibility.
